Two years ago (to the day: October 24th) I gave up trying to approach the cat.
She would hear my foot steps coming towards the deck. Gently she ease off the chair and walked towards the plants and relaxed under the huge deck. It was so smooth and anticlimate, I could have screamed.
The night before I slept with the screen door open and a fresh can promising a feline feast out. She came in only to calmly walk away as soon as I could reach for the door.
Two years ago, I gave up and called animal control: how do you catch a cat? Apparently a cat trap does the trick. That’s how Misty came into my life.

It’s one of the few approaches everyone seems to agree on: stating your gratitude has positive impact on your life. I could use some more positivity, could you?
So I’m joining in and writing about it. Trying again to ease myself back into writing with something simple.
Today I’m grateful for my little fur baby. She comes to me when I call her. She is soft and warm and loves snuggles. She constantly talks to me. Her diet is beyond complicated. And she is such a gentle soul and constantly in my business.
Thank you Misty for being in my world.
